When people show you who they are, believe them.” ~Maya Angelou

A week ago, I invited a few friends over to come take a look at all my ish so that I can move on to the next project of my success journey. Unfortunately, only three people I knew showed up- a close friend, a neighbor, and an associate. I am very fortunate that ANYONE showed, but the circumstance is unfortunate for the people who were not invited through their friends, who may have needed or wanted something. At first, I wanted to pick up everything and send it to Goodwill and a Women’s Shelter, but a close friend mentioned I should wait, therefore I did. Today is part two of my “extravaganza,” and NO ONE has shown up and I’m 3hrs in! It’s amazing how when you hand people things they don’t want to take them because they are skeptical because it’s free, and when you sell them things they will buy them faster than they receive the moneys to do so. It’s even more interesting how people are always in need but ACT like they don’t need anything from anybody when its offered 🙂

{ I quickly remember that I place everyone in my life accordingly. Should I have been invited a variety of people to the “event” or in my personal space, probably not, but I am a very giving and forgiving person; some things ya can’t help. For a moment I was offended, but because they confirmed to me who they are and the depth of our relationship, doesn’t change or effect who I am internally, (Thank God).}

I’m about to shut this down and go get some yogurt or ice cream, and follow my initial plan, to send all these awesome materials to Goodwill, Thrift Shops, and Shelters (yes, it’s that much stuff!) 🙂 ~Pernisha G.

Ps. It’s all love.
