As we all know it’s now February, and I have moved on to the second phase of my Fit Heiress Journey (which you are allowed to follow by the way). This month’s dvd challenge is the awesome, the lovely, the amazing, the kick-ass Jillian Michaels, hosting on my screen, “No More Trouble Zones,” and “6 Week Six-Pack.” Now, if you’re a Jill fan like myself you know that she ONLY means business, fast results and intense movements, all to banish that saggy arm and wobbling belly.
“No More Trouble Zones”, is your “Ultimate Body Makeover,” for those seeking more sex appeal on the beach and in the sheets. The only weapons she requires on this dvd are a set of five-pound weights and a mat for some serious sweat. Be prepared to watch your sanity go down the drain for the entire forty-five minutes. There will be no resting breaks during this workout, and that means, waves of sweat running down to your toes constantly! As always, Jillian begins her dvd in a five-minute warm-up, followed by “killer moves to target the shoulders, chest, abs, arms, hips and thighs,” just to name a few; and after the torture, you are invited to enjoy a five-minute cool-down (awww zen!). She definitely makes you “dig deep” and work all of those stubborn trouble areas.
You want ripped abs in just six weeks? You’ve got it! Jillian kicks up the speed and intensity in her, “6 Week Six-Pack,” workout. In only thirty minutes, she whips your entire abdominal area so that you too can rock those “Xena, Warrior Princess” abs. Do you have BIG dreams of modeling a polka-dot bikini summer 2014? Enjoy this fast-moving, abs blasting dvd to get your flat tummy in only six weeks. There are two phases to this workout – part one is for weeks one through three, and part two should be done the last few weeks for amazing results. You will need one five to eight pound weight and tons of energy for these serious cardio moves, because Jill will keep you on your toes (hands and back) as usual! For bigger and better results, combine this dvd with any of Jillian other dvd’s and be very conscious of what goes in your mouth and down to your six-pack.
Neither workout is for the lazy. With constant moves and for quick changes, there’s no time for resting. Do use these dvd’s to your discretion and when you feel like quitting, “think of WHY you are doing this,” (wise words from Jill).
